How does CBD help manage stress & anxiety?

Updated: Apr 30, 2020

Watching and being a part of history right now is just unreal. Our world is in shambles and I don't know about you but so is my anxiety. I personally have been taking CBD oil every. single. day. for the past 9 months and it has done WONDERS for me! BUT I had to recently up my dose to more mg because, you know, Rona fears.

Now, let's dive into some brain power...

Did you know that we all have an Endocannabinoid System in our bodies? Endocannabinoids, also called endogenous cannabinoids, are molecules made by your body. They’re similar to cannabinoids, but they’re produced by YOUR body. Yes, you read that right, we produce cannabinoids in our own bodies!

------------> SO that is why cannabis and its properties are soooo good for you. <---------------

Now, every body chemistry is different, so no EC system is the same. This is why some people will get different effects from either cannabis or CBD. One CBD product will work amazingly for one person but another person might not get the same effects. This is why we cannot stress enough that all CBD products are NOT created equal and it is important to talk to your CBD dealers here at the Honey Pot so we can try to find the one that is best for YOU and your needs!

So now that you know a little about this system let's dive into the different receptors that your EC molecules will attach to.

CB1 - receives THC molecules; these receptors are concentrated in the brain, central nervous system, and scattered throughout other bodily tissue. They mediate many of the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis.

CB2 - receives CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC molecules; these receptors are found in peripheral organs and cells associated with the immune system throughout the body. The highest concentration of these receptors is in the gut.

Your gut is central to your nervous system. The nerves in your gut communicate with the brain in your central nervous system, relaying the health of the gut and immune system. This nervous system can also produce neurochemicals, like dopamine and serotonin, which can impact mood and mental health!

So, CBD can help your stress and anxiety levels because the CBD receptors are primarily found in your gut and your gut literally communicates with your brain. So when CBD is taken, the molecules adhere to your CB2 receptors and kicks cortisol (bad stress hormone) to the curb and dopamine (happy hormone) and serotonin (happy chemical) are naturally produced!

Now lets all get that CBD oil and chug the heck out of it.

(well not really, you would literally sleep for dayyz)

xoxo,

your local CBD dealers
